[Registration] Best Buddies Malaysia Friendship Walk 2014

The first ever Best Buddies Friendship Walk is going to be held in Malaysia on 6th September 2014 (Saturday). This is not a competitive running event. However, I do believe the event requires the attention from the public. Being a firm believer in charity, I believe in giving back to the society.

Best Buddies® is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

The aim of the Friendship Walk is to changes lives, as participants walk for inclusion, friendship, leadership, and opportunity for people with and without Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).

In the Best Buddies Friendship Walk Malaysia, the goal is to generate awareness and also to showcase the program to other schools, universities and corporations so that they too would adopt the program and help spread the vision of a Malaysia that actively practices INCLUSION.

• Location: Taman Tasik Permaisuri
• Distance: 1.8KM
• Starting time: 4.00pm - 8.30pm
• Registration Fees: RM30 (Student) & RM40 (Public)
• Participant Entitlement: Limited Edition Best Buddies T-shirt, Wristband & Goodies
