Salomon X-Scream 3D Launch Event

I was invited to the Salomon X-Scream Event on 23th May 2015 (Saturday) at The Apartment, KLCC. It was a pleasure to be invited to test the newly launched Salomon X-Scream 3D running shoes around KLCC Park.

Being recognised as the technical leader in trail running footwear and upholding the theme of "Make Every Run An Adventure", Salomon X-Scream 3D is built as a way to escape running on the same route everyday.

A brief introduction was displayed to summarize the feature of the new Salomon X-Scream 3D running shoes. Some features include foothold in every direction, multi-surface grip and responsive ride for a dynamic run.

Now I am well prepared to test run the Salomon X-Scream 3D running shoes around KLCC Park.

It was a pleasure to run along with Salomon ambassadors, media partners and fellow bloggers.

We ran around KLCC Park for few laps to test out the shoes on different landscapes such as running pathway, grass, uphill, downhill and even staircase.

My First Impression

I had a good feelings once I put the shoes on for the first time. The shoes perfectly fit and hold the foot firmly with its Sensifit and Endofit technology. I believe this is an added point for the shoes as loosely fitted shoes will make running uncomfortable and for longer distance, intensify friction will cause blisters on the feet.

The Quicklace technology ensure easy lace tightening and no more shoes laces come undone. No more trouble of stopping abruptly during run to tie laces and run on.

The best that I like about the shoes is the grip. No sign of slippery throughout the run around the different surfaces of KLCC Park. Most running shoes in the market are meant for single use such as road running or trail running. However, this shoes is designed for city running with diversify landscape which is quite suitable for me. I just need to bring one type of shoes when I decided to run on the treadmill in the gym, running around the park or even running on the road. Save time when I packed for run.

As the trial was only limited for a few loops around KLCC Park, I will definitely put the shoes on real test for my upcoming runs to provide the most objective review on the shoes.
