[Budget] Barista & Latte Art Workshop

More and more hipster and coffee cafes are mushrooming in Klang Valley nowadays. The trend of enjoying a nice cup of coffee or getting a coffee fix has become a lifestyle to urban people.

Some might still prefer coffee from franchised coffee shop such as Starbucks or Coffee Bean. But mostly have shifted towards modern cafes for better aromatic coffee and cheaper pricing.

For true coffee lovers who want to learn in-dept about coffee can enroll into coffee class or workshop. The courses are not easily available and it does not come cheap as well. I came across a deal from Groupon and I think it might be suitable to some coffee lovers who want to expand their knowledge on this field.

The workshop is organised by Eciatto Group and is conducted by Speciality Coffee Association Europe (S.C.A.E) authorised trainer. The 2-hour Barista and Basic Latte Art workshops are priced at RM500 each. If you are interested to attend the workshop, it will only cost RM158 (save RM342).

However, you are required to attend Barista workshop first before you can register for Basic Latte Art workshop. The workshops are scheduled from July to August 2014.

Who are the Trainers?
Mr. Ken Lee is a certified barista and trainer by SCAE. Aside from being a barista and coffee consultant, Mr. Ken also have 8 years of experience as a mixologist.

Mr. Vincent Yong a.k.a. Coffee Prince, the artist of Eciatto is a Barista, Mixologist and a well-known latte art trainer in Malaysia. Certified as master barista, coffee expert & creative coffee by Universita Del Cafe Della Malaysia; has more than 6 years of experience as barista. His achievement varies from Espresso Magazine 1st Latte Art Online Competition- Champion, 2012 Friday Night Throwdown Latte Art- 2nd place and Café Asia Syphon Coffee Championship 2014.
