BEAM @ Bandar Sri Damansara

BEAM is totally a hidden gem in the industrial area of Bandar Sri Damansara. For those who never been here before, you will probably thinking that your navigation apps (Waze or Google Map) is bringing you to the wrong destination (that is what I am thinking too). Probably not, when you notice plenty of vehicles parking nearby when you are nearing the cafe.

BEAM stands for Bean Expedition At Manufactory is situated in a corner lot of Jalan Gangsa SD 5/B. Look out for the building with greyish green in colour.

If you still fail to notice it, then maybe you can try looking for the side entrance. Clearly seen raw bricks with the word BEAM on it.

The Bar counter is just situated on the right once you enter from the side entrance. You can order any of your favourite coffee at The Bar and they will serve to your table. If you are wondering, local Malaysian drink such as Kopi and Teh are available too. You can order local kuih-muih to suit the drink too. Truly Malaysian Cafe!!

For black coffee lover, you can order from a wide selection of premium coffee beans such as Ethiopia Konga or Guatemala Antigua. The brewing method include hand-brew and siphon.

Barista in action to prepare the premium black coffee to his customers. For those who interested to know more about the coffee beans and brewing methods, they are always friendly enough to explain in details to you.

There is a Roast Vessel in the premise. The red Coffee Roast Machine can be clearly seen with plenty of buckets beside it. Those buckets are fill with different type of coffee beans with descriptions. Instead of just having coffee, BEAM is passionate enough to educate patrons on every details of coffee.

The lighting on the wall is incorporated with Coffee Facts and Quotes. A brilliant idea to attract the interest of the patrons to study what is writing on the wall.

For those who prefer the upper floor, the large signage of BEAM awaits you when you reach the level. Coffee Fun Facts are drawn on the wall in this level. If you are new into coffee, then you should read everything on the wall.

A unit of Coffee Roast Machine worth RM22,900 is displayed on another side of upper floor.

Here is the view on the ground floor from the upper level. Forgot to mention that BEAM offers plenty of spacious seating to its patrons. Is kinda hard to have spacious cafe nowadays Thumb up for that!

BEAM is also selling coffee equipment to its patron who enjoys brewing coffee at home at The Apparatus section. Manual brewing apparatus such as pour-over and Chemex is available here.

Try out the Carrot Cake with its "Very Healthy" tagline. Truly enjoy the texture of the cake and it taste good as well. The Cappuccino is considered strong as compared to other cafe. A cup of Cappuccino at BEAM is very satisfying for me.
